1. Membership
The following are eligible to join as members of the Central Library, MSSV:

• Teachers, Students, Officers and other employees of the University.

• Any other person whose name is recommended by the Registrar and Head of the Departments and approved by the Vice-Chancellor.

2. Procedure for Enrolment
All categories of applicants shall fill in the prescribed forms, and make necessary deposit of fee to become members of the Central Library. The Identity card issued by the university shall be considered as the Library card.

3. Termination of Membership Members intending to terminate their membership shall return all the books borrowed.

4. Refund of Caution Deposit
A member who has terminated his/her membership may claim refund of the caution deposit (if deposited) from the Finance Department of the University after producing the “Library Clearance Certificate” from the Assistant Librarian/ Library-in-charge. In the case of members who do not have to make any caution deposit, the accounts of the person concerned shall be settled only on production of a “Library Clearance Certificate” from the Assistant Librarian/ Library-in-charge.
