Amalgamation
The Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited has proposed an amalgamation scheme whereby HDFC Investments Limited and HDFC Holdings Limited, its wholly owned subsidiaries, shall amalgamate together as well as with HDFC Bank Limited. Approvals have been made by RBI as well as CCI and it is expected that this amalgamation will be finalized by the third quarter of FY24.
