Deals

A deal was made by the co. with Blackstone Group for selling of 100% equity in 6 office projects (including a hotel), 50% in 4 projects that were under construction, and 85% in 9 shopping malls which it has completed constructing across India. It is expected that the transaction process would be implemented in two stages. In March’21 the company completed the first phase of the transaction worth Rs. 7,467 crore out of a total value of Rs. 9,160 crores. complied fifteen assets including complete retail, office and hotel premise(properties).

The second stage of the deal should be over between January and March 2022. Investment Property decreased from INR 6185.5 Crore on FY20 to INR 180 Crore as at FY21 while Cash and Cash Equivalent went up from INR 785.7 Crore in FY20 to INR 2346 Crores as a result of transferring some completed commercial and retail assets under Black Economic Ownership (BEO).
